Go to download On Saturday, June 27, the curtain at the Guinguada Theater rises to welcome 'Arizona', a play by Delerium Teatro that premieres the 'new normal' and also the company's 35-year history. With a text by Juan Carlos Rubio and music by Diego Navarro, 'Arizona' is a work that reflects on borders, migration, gender violence, human stupidity and the limits of its manipulation, in addition to being a tragicomic portrait of soul of two human beings lost in the desert of life. Based on real events, in April 2005, a group of armed US citizens conceived the Minute Man Project to prevent undocumented immigrants from crossing the US-Mexico border. The director of the Guiniguada Theater, Daniel Tapia, explained the different protocols that are contemplated in this “new normal” with respect to capacity restrictions, but also what affects the stage itself, which must also meet certain security requirements to avoid the spread of COVID19.
